Patek Philippe Twenty~4

Begin your own traditon.

Twenty-4 Collection

Since the company was founded in 1839, timepieces for women have always featured prominently in Patek Philippe’s collections. Originally in the form of pocket and pendant watches refined with artisanal techniques such as enamelling, engraving and gem-setting. The manufacture is also responsible for the first true wristwatch made in Geneva in 1868 and the company’s first striking wristwatch in 1916, all produced for women.

In 1999, Patek Philippe unveiled its new Twenty-4 collection, responding to the expectations of a modern, dynamic generation. It quickly became an iconic model, the epitome of timeless feminine elegance. The contemporary design, with a sleek but complex rectangular case adorned with diamonds, is extremely wearable both in the day and the evening.

The concept and creation

The concept for the Twenty- 4 was simple but challenging to execute. Designing a feminine timepiece that can be just as suited to business attire as it would be to evening wear is not straightforward. However, Patek Philippe perfectly balanced both using a manchette or cuff style, which curves to the wrist along with beautifully curved soft lines and a very slim case. Patek Philippe also developed an exclusive fully hand-polished bracelet to further accentuate the models’ lines and ensures complete comfort. A distinctive design element of the Twenty-4 is its case set with two rows of fine white round brilliant-cut diamonds. To retain an extremely slim profile the watch is equipped with Patek Philippe’s in-house quartz calibre E15 which is crafted with the same devotion to fine workmanship as those of the mechanical movements. The Twenty~4 has since been updated with a selection of new sunburst dials, all of which are applied with Arabic numerals.

In 2018, Patek Philippe added to the collection with the Twenty-4 Automatic. This new interpretation of the timeless and elegant design reinforced the manufactures’ position in the growing demand for mechanical Ladies' watches. The Twenty-4 Automatic retains the same exclusive bracelet but with a round case shape to house the entirely hand-finished self-winding calibre 324 S C. Keeping with the spirit of the original design of the Twenty-4 it is also beautifully set with 160 fine white round brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, each individually set by Patek Philippe’s master craftsman at their new state-of-the-art facility in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva.

Both the Twenty-4 quartz and Twenty-4 Automatic are offered in stainless steel and 18ct rose gold with a stunning array of dial colours to choose from. A standout model from the Twenty-4 quartz range is Ref. 4910/1200A-001 in stainless steel with a blue sunburst dial and case set with 36 round brilliant-cut diamonds. From the Twenty-4 Automatic selection Ref. 7300/1200R-001 in sumptuous 18ct rose gold with chocolate brown sunburst dial is truly irresistible.

The Patek Philippe Seal

Following the stringent guidelines of the Patek Philippe Seal, the highest level of craftsmanship is applied to every part of the creation process. This includes the highly complex way of producing the dials (which can take up to 4 months), the intricacy of hand-setting each diamond, the very fine polishing of the case and bracelet and the meticulous hand-finishing of the movement. The seal is a commitment to each piece, that meets the extremely high expectations of both Patek Philippe and the client. It is also a promise for the future, that your timepiece can always be maintained and serviced by Patek Philippe. No other manufacture can guarantee this ongoing determination to provide such a commitment to its clients but it’s one that separates Patek Philippe from all other timepieces.

Combined with technical excellence and impeccable craftsmanship, the Twenty-4 is a timepiece that offers the opportunity to be enjoyed on all occasions.
